aka Semi-Permanent Makeup
Microblading is a tattoo technique to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Compared to standard tattoo techniques, microblading incorporates a hand-held blade that creates extremely fine slices into the skin such that each stroke is parallel to a single strand of hair.
This technique is often used to enhance or to create a person's eyebrows by depositing pigment on the surface of the dermis a lot shallower than areas targeted by traditional tattoo techniques. As a result, the pigment fades more rapidly.
